Product Specialist Fiber Lasers & Press Brakes – Europe

This international machine tool manufacturer is a market leader in CNC machine tools across the Western world and develops CNC machining centers, lathes, fiber lasers, and press brakes.

To further strengthen its fiber laser and press brake activities, the company is looking for a Product Specialist who combines technical expertise with strong commercial awareness. You will join a small, approachable, and international team offering considerable autonomy and short communication lines.

Jouw nieuwe functie

As a Product Specialist, you will be the European point of reference for fiber laser and press brake solutions. You will support dealers, sales teams, and end customers throughout the entire process, from pre-sales activities to technical support and market development.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support regarding product- and application-related questions • Deliver application advice and develop machine configurations • Resolve product-related technical challenges • Support dealers and sales teams throughout commercial sales processes • Develop product positioning and sales arguments • Deliver product, dealer, and sales training sessions • Demonstrate machines at customer sites, events, and trade exhibitions • Support product launches across Europe • Gather market feedback and identify new business opportunities • Collaborate closely with departments such as Sales, Service, Marketing, and Product Management • Maintain regular contact with international colleagues and stakeholders

You will be responsible for the entire European market and will travel approximately one week per month for customer visits, dealer visits, demonstrations, and trade fairs.

Jouw profiel

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field
• Experience in a technical, engineering, product management, or technical-commercial environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical challenges into practical solutions
• Affinity with digital technologies, online visibility, and optimization strategies
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly to a variety of stakeholders
• Customer-oriented and commercially minded, with a focus on building long-term relationships
• Experience in project coordination and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive, entrepreneurial, and results-driven mindset
• Structured way of working with strong attention to quality and detail
• Eager to learn and motivated to quickly master new technologies, tools, and market developments
• Fluent in Dutch and English
