As a Production Technician, you will provide technical support within an automated production environment, with a 50/50 split between mechanical and electrical work. You will troubleshoot, analyse and resolve technical faults on a varied range of machinery, including CNC machines, robots, milling and sawing machines, while also carrying out preventive maintenance and implementing improvements together with the Technical Manager. You'll receive an attractive salary supplemented by meal vouchers, as well as thorough training and ongoing support in a modern working environment where safety, wellbeing and teamwork are key.

Do you get a kick out of tackling technical faults quickly and do you enjoy working with a varied and automated range of machinery? Then be sure to read on!

What will your tasks involve?

  • You will identify, analyse and pragmatically resolve technical faults in the machinery so that production can resume quickly

  • Following technical interventions, you document the work carried out and the solutions implemented

  • You carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with the existing maintenance plan

  • Together with the Technical Manager, you'll develop ideas for improvements and ensure their practical implementation

  • Within the machinery fleet, you'll work with CNC machines, milling and sawing machines, handling and pick & place robots, and welding robots

  • When technical problems arise, you take independent responsibility and actively seek a workable solution

  • A technical qualification with prior experience in electromechanics forms the basis for this role

  • Experience within an industrial production environment is important, preferably with CNC, robots, fully automated production lines and machine maintenance

  • Knowledge of motors and gearboxes, compressed air, hydraulics, electricity and HMI is very useful

  • Experience with welding is essential; a VCA certificate and a forklift or aerial work platform licence are an advantage

  • Fluency in English is important for internal communication on the shop floor. You should also be comfortable using basic PC applications

  • You are hands-on, independent, keen to learn and results-oriented and attach great importance to 5S and the safe handling of valuable equipment

  • An attractive salary, supplemented by meal vouchers

  • A full-time role working two shifts with an international market leader

  • Opportunity for a permanent contract following a successful temporary placement

  • Comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you develop further in your role
