Description de l’offre

Ensus Consulting BV is a consulting and services firm operating at the interface between science, government and industry. We provide tailor-made Regulatory Affairs dossier management services to national and international customers covering all aspects of dossiers related to chemicals legislations including the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR), Plant Protection Products Regulation (PPPR), etc. In order to further expand our small regulatory affairs team, we are looking for a highly motivated new colleague.

After an initial period of training on-the-job, you will soon be expected to work independently. You will support companies in their regulatory challenges related to chemical products, incl. biocides and pesticides. You coordinate and support regulatory dossiers —covering both national and European chemical legislations— from start to finish. The latter includes for example setting up challenging efficacy testing scenarios, discussions with laboratories on analytical testing, dossier creation, etc. Furthermore, you will be able to take part to European discussions on drafting the guidance and commenting on existing guidance documents.

While we strongly value the capacity to work independently, it is also essential to cooperate with your colleagues, external partners and experts, authorities and our (inter)national customers.

The ideal candidate should:

be a (recent) graduate (Master or PhD level) in a life sciences discipline (chemistry, biology, biosciences, bioengineering, …).

be eager to develop expertise in the main aspects involved in dossier preparation: analytical chemistry, microbiology, (eco)toxicology, exposure assessment, risk assessment, modelling, classification and labelling, ...

preferably have relevant experience in research projects, through internships or industry trainee programmes. While demonstrated experience in executing regulatory projects (BPR, PPPR, CLP, … ) would be beneficial, it is not strictly required.

have the following analytical skills: a keen eye for detail, collecting and analysing data with a critical eye, enjoying solving complex problems.

have excellent writing (English) and organisational skills, good interpersonal skills, responsibility and a critical mind.

have sound skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and will become proficient in IUCLID 6, a software application to manage scientific data on chemicals which is used in the implementation of various regulatory programmes, after an on-the-job training.

We offer an inviting work environment in an international context with ample opportunities to grow and develop, and with space for own initiative and responsibility. Since we value a correct work-life balance, we offer flexible working hours, with the option to work partially from home.

Apart from a competitive salary, we also offer a series of extra-legal benefits, e.g. company car, next to bonuses.
