• You have experience in road construction or earthworks
• You have a category B driving licence
• You work safely and in an organized manner.
• You are flexible regarding commuting and working hours
• You know English or Dutch at a communicative level

• Hourly rate from €18,592 gross per hour to €22,374 gross per hour
• Clothing allowance of €0,50/working day

Vacation days

• Statutory vacation days: You are entitled to vacation days in accordance with Belgian regulations, accrued based on the days you worked in the previous year. This corresponds toapproximately 20 days of annual leave, depending on your working hours.
• Construction leave: In the construction sector, there is a tradition of 3 weeks of collective construction leave in the summer.
• Christmas leave: Between Christmas and New Year, you also have 2 weeks of leave.
• Compensatory rest days: In addition to statutory leave, there are compensatory rest daysdefined by the sector. On these days, you do not work or take vacation days, but take compensatory rest days.

Your workplace

Together with a colleague, you depart from Zedelgem and travel by van to various locations throughout Flanders. You always work outdoors, even if the weather is a bit worse. Your working hours are often different.

A look at your daily tasks

As a road construction worker in the team in Zedelgem, you will be responsible, among other things, for:

• Earthworks and sewer works
• Constructing or repairing driveways
• Laying paving stones and curbs
• Connecting street drains
