Operations Manager

Profile

For the position of Operations Manager for our client to Tongeren & Inden (Germany) We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in transport, planning and operational management. You have at least 10 years’ relevant experience and feel at home in an environment where speed, accuracy and responsibility go hand in hand.

We expect you to have:

• at least 10 years’ experience in transport, operations, planning or a similar coordinating role;
• in-depth knowledge of transport planning, international transport processes, driving and rest periods, and route optimisation;
• experience of operational monitoring, problem-solving and decision-making under pressure;
• strong administrative skills and a meticulous approach to work;
• familiarity with tools such as TAS, Transics and MS Office;
• a clear and professional style of communication with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders;
• the ability to set priorities, adapt efficiently and identify opportunities for improvement;
• a responsible, stress-resistant and practical mindset with an eye for quality and results;
• a cost-conscious and solution-oriented approach, with the courage to take the initiative and improve processes.

Experience in a managerial or team-coordinating role is a strong asset. You combine operational maturity with a hands-on approach and are keen to help build a stable and high-performing operation in Tongeren.
