Must-haves for this job

As a semi-automatic welder for a client in Kuurne, it is imperative that you have experience as a semi-automatic welder. Additionally, this is your profile for this vacancy:

• you have extensive experience as a semi-automatic welder
• you can read blueprints independently
• knowledge of step welding techniques is a major advantage
• you enjoy welding complex and large structures (custom work)
• you communicate fluently in Dutch and/or English
• you are looking for a daytime job
• you are prepared to undergo a welding and blueprint reading test during an interview to demonstrate your skills

Salary and extra-legal benefits

You will join a stable and growing SME that works with modern machinery.

After a successful temporary mission, you will be employed on a permanent basis, with a permanent contract.

You will work during daytime hours, from Monday to Thursday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and on Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:15 PM.

Starting with 6 months of seniority, you will receive, in addition to the salary, meal vouchers worth 7 euros.

A look at your daily tasks

Those who apply for the semi-automatic welder vacancy will take on the following tasks:

• start based on a technical plan that you read and execute independently
• you will weld complex and large chassis structures (e.g., agricultural vehicles) with tubes and plates (you will NOT weld in a template or series)
• you will check the quality of your work
• you will work on a day schedule from Monday to Friday or possibly in 2 shifts if necessary in the future.

They have fully automated machinery controlled from a sheet metal warehouse with 700 pallet locations.
