Must-haves for this job

• You have experience as a earthworks worker. Experience in work on municipal installations is an additional asset.
• You have category B driving license.
• Physical work is not a problem for you.
• You know English or Dutch at a communicative level.

• Salary depending on experience: 18.592 € – 22.374 € gross/hour

Vacation days

• Statutory vacation days: you are entitled to vacation days in accordance with Belgian legislation, accrued on the basis of your results in the previous year. This meansapproximately 20 annual vacation days, depending on working hours and results.
• Construction leave: in the construction sector there is traditionally a 3-week collective summer vacation
• Holiday break: at Christmas you also have 2 weeks off.
• Compensatory rest days: in addition to statutory leave, there are compensatory rest days, which are set at the level of the entire industry. On these days you do not work and do not use vacation days, but compensatory rest days.

A look at your daily tasks

• Laying and repairing public utility installations.
• Assistance in laying pipes, cables and wires.
• Closing and repairing excavations.
• Cooperation with the excavator operator and the foreman in order to efficiently carry out the project.
