Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Reach out to potential new customers via mailings, dedicated meetings, telephone calls and company presentations

• Initiate marketing activities and participate in trade shows, exhibitions and networking events

• Identify feasible new business opportunities and turn them into commercial projects

• Qualify and define the project in close cooperation with the technical staff

• Assist in legal discussions and drafting contract with customers and suppliers

• Be a trusted advisor for your customers and create a long term relationship based on trust

• High-level follow-up of projects and presence at important meetings

• Maintain supplier relationships and align supplier capabilities with business opportunity needs

• Coordinate press releases and contribute to our business communication

• Consult regularly with Chief Business Development Officer regarding sales forecast

Competencies

• You have a strong technical background in micro-electronics

• Strategic sales experience in the semiconductor industry is a must

• You are able to set-up a sales and marketing plan and you can interpret P&L

• You are eager to bring in new customers and you are driven by customer satisfaction

• You have the ability to build relationships at all levels

• You have good planning, organizational and problemsolving skills

• You have the flexibility to adapt and to meet changing requirements

• You are able to travel and to work evenings when required (20%)
