Hays is looking for an IT Business Analyst for a well-established client active in the retail sector. This organization operates a large network of stores across Belgium and supports both professional and private customers. You will join a dynamic and pragmatic environment where collaboration, digitalization, and continuous improvement are key. Your new role

As an IT Business Analyst, you combine strong analytical skills with solid technical understanding. You act as a bridge between business teams and IT, with a clear focus on Microsoft technologies.

Your responsibilities include:

• Analyzing business needs and translating them into functional and technical requirements
• Working closely with stakeholders across operations, supply chain, and support functions
• Playing an active role in IT and digital transformation projects, especially within the Microsoft ecosystem
• Supporting and optimizing solutions based on Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and the Power Platform
• Contributing to the implementation and evolution of Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Facilitating workshops, documenting processes, and defining user stories
• Collaborating with external IT partners and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, automation, and end-user experience

Your profile

You are a hands-on IT Business Analyst who is not only strong in analysis, but also technically skilled within Microsoft environments.

Key requirements:

• Strong communication skills in Dutch, with a good knowledge of French and/or English
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field
• Several years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in a technical environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 is a must
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and SharePoint is highly preferred
• Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business solutions
• Experience in retail, distribution, or a similar sector is a plus
• Proactive mindset, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a project-based environment
