Operator CNC Wood

For an established player in the wood industry in the Kortemark region, we are looking for an operator for the planing department. Do you have technical insight and an affinity for woodworking? Then this might be your next challenge.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate a Weinig 4-sided profiling and planing machine
• Set up machines, start them up, and monitor the production process
• Carry out production according to instructions, production orders, and technical sheets
• Perform quality control on finished pieces
• Carry out basic maintenance on machines and installations
• Package products according to order specifications and transport method
• Register production data and communicate with colleagues
• Use a forklift for internal transport

Requirements

• Experience with woodworking machines or a strong affinity with carpentry
• Technically minded and eager to learn
• Accurate and able to work independently
• Good team player with clear communication skills
• Forklift experience is a plus
• A recent graduate who studied woodworking is also welcome
